BIKE GEAR

We don't sell bikes or helmets, but we sell pretty much everything else you need to ride safely, such as panniers, backpacks, saddlebags, and safety lights.

SHELTER & SAFETY

You'll need a light, portable tent (or tarp or hammock), maybe even a bike trailer. You may also want a headlamp, extra batteries, sunglasses, a portable power unit, and/or a solar charger for the journey. Power outlets are surprisingly scarce on the trail.

SLEEP GEAR

A sleeping bag and pad light enough to carry on your bike or strapped to a bike trailer are must-haves for bikepacking.

COOKING GEAR

Unless you plan on eating in restaurants for every single meal (and good luck with that if your chosen path goes through some wilderness!), you'll need to feed yourself. Check out our camp stoves, fuel, lighters, and utensils such as mugs, pots, and sporks. Water safety is paramount to safe bikepacking, too, so be sure to pick up a water filter. We also make portable food!

NAVIGATION

A compass, bike-mount GPS unit, and waterproof maps are a huge help when bikepacking. Keep your attention on the journey.

FIRST-AID GEAR

You'll need a lightweight but comprehensive kit, because falls are almost a given! Get one that includes bandages, antibiotic ointment, blister pads, pain relievers, and gauze for bigger mishaps (like road rash).
